Katrina Mcdonald
Hi, I’m Katrina, the face behind Coastal Care Queensland. I have over 15 years of personal experience with disabilities and support. My eldest was diagnosed at four with severe autism and ADHD, struggling with extreme anxiety and violent behaviours. My second youngest also has ADHD, and my mum is wheelchair-bound after a stroke, paralysed on her left side, and managing severe depression, Crohn’s disease, and osteoporosis.
This is more than just work for me – it’s personal. I’m passionate about making sure people with disabilities get the right care and the right fit because I know firsthand how much it matters to both the individual and their family.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience and a love for the coastal lifestyle, we’re all about making support simple and stress-free. Based in the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay, we’re here to help you with everything from the everyday to those much-needed beach days, because life’s better with a little extra care and a lot of local heart.
